Chamber introduces Networking Events

SPRINGVILLE—The Springville Area Chamber of Commerce, on Jan. 30, hosted its first networking event. A new series designed to bring bring together neighbors and Chamber members, the networking events will be hosted monthly.

Held at local restaurants that will change monthly, each Networking Event will take place the fourth Tuesday of the month, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night’s event welcomed about 15 people, who met with each other and enjoyed dinner, courtesy of the Chamber.

In an effort to continue connecting people, the Networking Events will rotate from restaurant to restaurant, open to all community members.

“Come and learn more about your neighbors,” a press release introducing the events said. “Mingle with board members, meet new people in a casual atmosphere. Bring a friend. Or two! The more the merrier.”

Currently, the Chamber has planned networking events through May. Each event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. More information on the event, including the locations can be found online at SpringvilleChamber.com.

The current schedule is: Feb. 27, Papa Jake’s Saloon; March 27, JD’s Brew Pub; April 24, Kiril’s Restaurant and May 22, Fireside Inn.
