SPRINGVILLE—Emerling Ford celebrated 50 years of the Ford Mustang with a Mustang Rally on Saturday, July 12. Local mustang owners and enthusiasts got the chance to show off their cars and walk among 68 different Mustangs.
Bruce Barratt took home first place for best in show with his 1970 Mach 1, followed by Ken Kohl in second for his 2005 Rousch 3 convertible, Wayne Coch and his 1965 Mustang Coupe took him third place honors. The Emerling Ford Employees Choice was given to Mike Black and his 2012 BOSS 302.[photo2]
A police escort took the participants to Holland Motorsports Complex for a lap on the Holland Speedway. Drivers took one lap around the speedway at whatever speed they felt comfortable. The lap, as well as the Mustang Rally, was all organized and arranged by Emerling Ford.
