In total, the auction raised $307 for the Trading Post Community Kitchen and Southern Tier Food Pantry, with Robert Clark’s “bacon-apple” pie’s starting a bidding war that ended up bringing in $70 by itself.
The next cooking contest will be a chili cookoff in the fall. The Trading Post is requesting chili cooks and judges to participate in the event. Anyone interested in participating can call 592-4455 for more information.
