Vendors sought for WILMA

CATTARAUGUS — “We Invite Local Manufacturers and Artisans,” the Woolley Bear Weekend, is a new event created by the Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism of Cattaraugus County.
WILMA is open to all artists and manufacturers who produce their items in Cattaraugus County. It is being held Oct. 18, 19 and 20 in the corporate building on the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds in Little Valley. The three-day event will start with a kick-off symposium on Friday, Oct.18, then the shop local/buy local exposition event will run on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct, 20 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The event is scheduled to include items that are handmade or manufactured in Cattaraugus County by local artisans and manufacturers. Activities are also being planned for children.
The department is seeking family-friendly manufacturers and artisans who will display and sell their wares, during the two-day expo.
Tables are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and pre-registration is required by Sept. 15. Space is limited.
