Cure cabin fever while golfing for wildlife at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center’s second annual Eagles & Birdies Golf Tournament Saturday, March 3 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Cyber Creek Entertainment Center in Elma. Participants can contact Hawk Creek at 652-8646 or www.hawkcreek.org for tickets and more information.

All proceeds benefit the animals of Hawk Creek Wildlife Center. Non-players can still enjoy the buffet and unlimited draft beer and well drinks as they cheer for their favorite golfer in the longest drive contest.

Both first-timers and seasoned pros are invited to participate in the nine-hole tournament while supporting Hawk Creek, one of WNY’s outreach environmental education centers. Cyber Creek is one of Western New York’s indoor cyber golf facilities and offers more than 30 golf courses. Event participants can bring their own golf clubs or use the facility’s. Within the center is Cobber’s by the Creek Restaurant and Pub.

“Proceeds from events such as these allow Hawk Creek to continue serving the community through our quality environmental education, and internationally recognized wildlife rehabilitation and conservation services,” said Loretta Jones, Hawk Creek’s founder and executive director.

Donations can be made to Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. P.O. Box 662, East Aurora, N.Y. 14052.
