COLLINS — The Collins Draft Horse, Ox and Pony Club will hold its 32nd annual Horse Plowing Festival on May 4 at Wheater Road and Route 62 in the town of Collins. Horses will get ready to plow at 9 a.m. and the event end at 4 p.m., with the drawing for a handmade quilt.
The event is free and features working draft animals, a baked good sale, auction to benefit youth programs, crafts, a petting zoo, wagon rides, pony rides, various demonstrations, chicken barbecue catered by Wendel’s and live music. There will also be a snack bar and stick horse races.
