SPRINGVILLE — The Springville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an educational workshop for business owners, entrepreneurs and interested community members. The workshop will be held on April 23 from 8-9:30 a.m. at the chamber office, located at 23 North Buffalo St. in Springville.
The Internet has become every small company’s on-ramp to a commerce superhighway. E-commerce has leveled the playing field, so that small businesses with a strategy can compete for the attention and loyalty of customers.
The SACC will host this workshop, the first in a series aimed at economic development and business growth for the local area. The presenter is Don Hahn, director of marketing for 360PSG and sales trainer and mentor for the University of Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Hahn will lead a discussion on how to ensure a business’ website is truly working, by not just bringing traffic, but bringing traffic that will lead to sales. Participants will leave with steps to optimize the point at which Web meets sales.
Breakfast begins at 7:30, with the program beginning at 8 a.m.
There is a discounted price for SACC members. Payment will be accepted at the door, but participants are asked to RSVP, for an accurate count for seating and breakfast. For more information, call 592-4746 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
