Aurora Waldorf School to hold Winter Faire

WEST FALLS — Aurora Waldorf School, located at 525 West Falls Road in West Falls, will hold its annual Winter Faire on Jan. 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Faire is open to the public. There is an admission charge, and free parking will be available. Children ages 16 and under will receive activity tickets with admission.

“Winter Faire showcases all of the beautiful aspects of Aurora Waldorf School and highlights them in a magical way,” notes Faire co-chair Stacey Nazitto. “People from across Western New York attend to shake off the winter blues and get a dose of pure fun.”

Activities include the cupcake walk, children’s handcrafts, puppet shows, storytelling in a castle, jump-rope making, roaming pocket ladies and jewel gnomes.

A full range of food, created by the school’s in-house chef and modeled after its lunch program, will also be available.

Specialties include homemade lentil shepherd’s pie, macaroni and cheese and soups, with take-home quarts available for purchase.
