COLLINS — On June 11-13, Collins Center Senior Citizens will take a trip to see “Moses,” at the Millennium Theatre in Lancaster and visit the battlefield at Gettysburg, Pa. The trip, from June 11-13, will include a visit to both places, but since the seniors have taken many trips to Lancaster, Pa., the majority of the trip will be in Gettysburg. The club will visit Lancaster on the second day of the trip, to see the performance, followed by an Amish family-style dinner at Hershey Farm Restaurant, then returning to their lodging in Gettysburg.
A deposit is due by Jan. 1, with more than half of the cost of the trip due March 5. The balance is due April 15. A sign-up sheet and flyers will be available in the senior room at the L.K. Painter Center in Collins.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, indoor walking and exercise, led by Pat Tucker, will be held at 9 a.m. in the gymnasium of the Painter Center. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, gentle arthritis exercises will be held in the gymnasium. Quilting classes will be held on Wednesdays, from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. For more information on quilting classes, call Florence Reynolds at 532-3075.
There is also senior bowling at K&L Lanes in Gowanda, crafts, informal euchre games and tai chi.
