SPRINGVILLE — The Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation is planning its sixth annual silent auction and wine tasting event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, at Springville Health and Fitness.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and guests will hear musical entertainment, sample treats from restaurants around town and bid on a wide selection of baskets.
Proceeds from this event will support the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, as it purchases a nuclear medicine camera. This equipment will create more options for cardiac care, allowing patients to receive treatment and follow up locally.
The foundation’s past events have supported the Boys and Girls Club of Springville, Springville Youth Incorporated, the Springville Center for the Arts, many local classroom projects and the Springville-Griffith Institute school district. Most recently, the foundation became the first corporate sponsor of the Village Clock Tower project and purchased equipment for the S-GI athletic department.
Tickets will be available at the door. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or Michael Hannon at 592-2296 for more information.
