Have a heart: dinner program

SPRINGVILLE — To help area women learn more about their heart health and recognize the warning signs of heart disease, Catholic Health is sponsoring a free dinner program called, “Her Heart: Understanding Women’s Cardiac and Vascular Health,” on Oct. 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Springvilles Fire Hall, located at 405 West Main St. in Springville.
During the program, cardiac specialists will present information on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart disease in women, as well as how to recognize the various warning signs.
Presenters include Thomas Smith, cardiologist with Catholic Health and the Bertrand Chaffee Heart Center; Henry Meltser, cardiologist with Catholic Health and the Cardiology Group of Western New York and Jason Jankowiak, vice president of Cardiovascular Services at Catholic Health.
