Colden church hosts Lenten fish dinners

The Colden United Church, located at 8795 Lower East Hill Road in the heart of Colden, will be hosting Lenten fish dinners on March 2, 16 and 30.
The dinners will consist of fresh-fried haddock fish, three homemade salads served family-style, beverage, rolls or rye bread and homemade pie or cake. Dinner takeout will also be available. Serving will begin at 4:30 p.m.
The “Colden Country Cookbook,” with turn-of-the-century town photos, will also be available for purchase. This book contains more than 600 recipes.
