S-GI music students play in all-county music festival

SPRINGVILLE — Several students from the Springville-Griffith Institute High School music department participated in Junior High Erie All-County honors ensembles.

The Junior High South All-County Festival, which featured students in grades seven-nine, was held at Lake Shore High School on March 14 and 15.

The festival consisted of a band, orchestra and chorus.

The students were selected as a result of their ratings at the Erie County Music Educators Association Junior High solo festival in January.
