CONCORD — Country music was the order of the day, on a cool but sunny evening at the concert in the park on Aug. 15. Homemade Jam took the stage and played for the crowd.

Denny Pearce of Springville said he loves the concerts very much. He said he also goes to Boston and attends concerts in the park, in that community.

His wife, Barb Pearce agreed.

“We come as much as we can and enjoy them very much.”

Cloyd Dunkle of Lackawanna said he drives out to Springville every week, to watch the concerts.

“I come on Tuesdays to the Mercantile, also,” he added.

The Springville Jazz Orchestra, which plays big band music, will take the stage on Thursday, Sept. 22. at 6:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the concerts are held across the street, inside Concord Town Hall.
