Work for ‘Changing Seasons: The Byway Experience’

SPRINGVILLE — Springville Center for the Arts, in conjunction with the Western New York Southtowns Scenic Byway, is seeking artists of any medium to submit work for consideration for Changing Seasons: The Byway Experience.
The juried exhibit of artwork, inspired by the Southtowns Scenic Byway, will be on display at the Springville Center for the Arts’ newly-renovated Harold L. Olmsted Gallery from Sept. 7 – Oct. 27, 2013.
The deadline for submission is Aug. 10, 2013, but artists may submit early. Cash prizes will be awarded.
All work submitted must be ready to display, by the deadline. Work included in the exhibit will be featured in an exhibit book and other promotional materials for the Center.
Work may be representative of, or inspired by, this designated scenic route, which runs through Aurora, Boston, Colden, Concord, East Aurora, Orchard Park and Springville.
Sites along the byway include waterfalls, villages, a gorge, farms and cemeteries. Maps and information on the byway can be found at www.wnyssb.org.
