SPRINGVILLE — On Sept. 16, Springville-Griffith Institute eighth grade social studies students skyped with students from the Career Building International Academy in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The S-GI students and the students from Nepal were able to see each other and share educational experiences, as well as chat about what the weather was like in their respective parts of the world.
This opportunity was made possible as a result of an International School Partnership Agreement between the Career Building International Academy and the Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District, in collaboration with the Volunteer Society of Nepal.
Mel Williams, former S-GI School Board President, is a member of the Volunteer Society of Nepal and makes frequent visits to Nepal. For more information, visit www.springvillegi.org.
