Aurora Waldorf children’s garden at Plantasia

Aurora Waldorf School of West Falls is hosting a children’s area at Plantasia, for the kids to explore, during the gardening expo at The Fairgrounds.

HAMBURG — Aurora Waldorf School is offering the Enchanted Castle Children’s Garden at Plantasia Garden and Landscape Show through March 23 at the Fairgrounds Event Center, located at 5600 McKinley Parkway in Hamburg. Hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There is an admission charge.

The entire event celebrates spring in Western New York and the Aurora Waldorf School Children’s Garden includes crafts and coloring stations, a castle moat filled with jewels to discover, storytelling, face painting, puppet shows, jump rope-making and more.

“We are thrilled to partner with Plantasia this year,” said Lisa Pieters, AWS marketing director and Children’s Garden coordinator. “Connecting with the children and families that come through the doors at the fairgrounds all week will be a natural extension of our mission.”
