SPRINGVILLE — The Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation will hold a steak dinner to raise funds to replace curtain panels in the Springville-Griffith Institute High School Auditorium on Thursday, April 18.
Last summer, the foundation organized a similar event, to support the purchase of equipment for the S-GI athletics department, especially the football program.
The organization then reached out to the district’s music program, to find out if there were any needs that could be met by a fundraising effort.
After hearing of the state of some of the curtain panels in the auditorium, foundation members agreed that updates to that facility would give an update to the look and color scheme of the district’s performance space.
The steak dinner fundraiser will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on April 18 at Papa Jake’s Restaurant in Springville.
Foundation representatives asked that advance tickets be purchased, as quantity is limited.
