JOIN THE CLUB — There were 37 Springville-Griffith Institute middle school National Junior Honor Society inductees who joined the society during the Nov. 13 ceremony.
SPRINGVILLE — On Nov. 13, the Springville-Griffith Institute middle school held its National Junior Honor Society Induction ceremony. This year, 37 inductees defined the chapters required qualities. Each student has held a 90 percent overall grade point average, since they have been in the middle school, and each student represents “outstanding character, leadership, service and citizenship, within both school and outside community,” according to those standards.
Victoria Piatek, S-GI National Honor Society president and Mike Retzlaff served as the ceremony’s guest speakers.
