Graduate panel and open house at Aurora Waldorf

AURORA — Aurora Waldorf School will host a free graduate panel and spring open house on Saturday, March 16 for current families, prospective parents, students, educators and the general public.

A panel, “In their Own Words: the Results of a Waldorf Education,” will be moderated by Sue Tunkey, a former AWS teacher. The panel will include graduates from the classes of 2001 and 2010 and will cover information about the transition to high school, college and standardized testing, as well as questions from the audience.

The lecture, which will begin at 11 a.m., will be followed by an all-school open house, from noon – 2 p.m. Participants may visit classrooms, meet teachers and parents and partake of refreshments.

Parents and children ages 2 – 6 may experience the AWS early childhood program, including playgroup, nursery and kindergarten.

Aurora Waldorf School is located at 525 West Falls Road in West Falls. For more information, visit www.aurorawaldorfschool.org.
