Springville Journal letter to the editor: Thanks for the community support
Wednesday June 26, 2013 | By:Tom Dinse |
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in Springville and the surrounding communities who have, in some way, touched my life, over the past 36 years, as an employee of Bob Johnson Motors.
The friendships and business relationships that we established will always be dear to my heart.
To all of my coworkers, over the years, thanks for making me look better at my job than I really was.
A successful career is not accomplished alone. It takes a supporting cast, on the job, and a loving family, at home, to get you where you are.
However, as Lee Iacocca once said, about Chrysler Corporation, “The reports of my demise have been greatly over-exaggerated.”
I am not retired or gone into hiding, but rather have taken a position at Johnson Boys Chevrolet-Buick, where I plan to make new friendships and business relationships, while not forgetting those of the past.
I wish Jason Powenski and his team, at the former Bob Johnson Motors, the best of luck, as they begin their new journey, as well.
