Springville Journal letter to the editor: Customer questions fitness center management

Recently, many of the customers of the Springville Health and Fitness Center experienced a feeling of shock and disappointment.
The owners chose to replace the manager, who was responsible for bringing many of us into their facility.
Our option was to join the gym operated by the former owner.
The decision to join the newly-renovated facility was primarily due to respect for the new manager, Gerry Czora.
Many of us attended Gerry’s original fitness center, which he operated with expertise and integrity. Gerry is a “people person” who can greet you on a first-name basis, even though he hasn’t seen you for several years.
It is difficult to understand how, in a competitive environment, the owners could consider his release a good business move.
