Debate, discussion and choice make our democracy strong. Without choices, too few people pay attention. I am thankful that on March 18, residents of the village of Springville will have a choice, when they head to the polls to vote.
I am even more thankful that I will have the opportunity to cast my two votes for village trustee for Samantha Skura and Robert Moriarty. I encourage you to do the same.
I know Samantha as a member and active volunteer at the Springville First United Methodist Church. Samantha is a positive, collaborative and very passionate individual. Beyond her kindness and her energy, she possesses intelligence, diligence, a willingness to listen to all perspectives and a deep commitment to community-building. A young voice in local government is needed. It is exciting that Samantha is taking on the challenge of serving as a village trustee.
Samantha is running with Robert Moriarty. Samantha and Rob will work together to bring new ideas to local government, get more people involved and take on the tough problems facing Springville.
I believe in their vision of a revitalized Springville and Iím ready to work with them, to make Springville better.
