Banners show off a great community

We would like to acknowledge the banners hanging on the village light poles. For the past three summers the Village Department of Public Works, under the direction of Karl Lux, has so kindly displayed the banners that were created by Springville-Griffith Institute art students for local businesses and organizations.

These include: Julie’s Pizzeria, Johnson Family Dealership, Love In the Name of Christ, Medusa Salon, Realty USA, Springville Concord Elder Network, Springville Faculty Association, Springville Waves Aquatic Team, Springville Youth Inc., S-GI Administrators, S-GI Board of Education, S-GI Support Personnel, State Farm Insurance, Subway Restaurant and S&S Taxidermy.

Recently the village office installed signage artwork that will allow you to identify the generous sponsors in our community.

We are blessed to be able to educate in such a supportive community and want to express our gratitude for the collaboration and cooperation from our school district, village leaders, art students and sponsors.
