Working together to make Springville a great village

Congratulations to the residents of Springville for their participation in local government! As candidates for trustee, and two people who love Springville, we have been excited to see participation in local government increasing.

The existence of opposing candidates with different viewpoints occasionally ruffles some feathers. Revitalize Springville is a growing group of local volunteers who are passionate about our community. Our “special interest” is the residents of the village of Springville. We think we can bring a fresh perspective and a needed diversity to local government, but we know that our opponents are all caring people, who have a lot to offer and who have given a lot to the community.

Anyone who throws their hat into the ring should be congratulated and welcomed. We are all benefitting from the rise in interest in local politics. No matter who won, government is always more responsive to the public, because of this competition. We all win with a choice and so we want to take the opportunity to congratulate all the candidates, regardless of where we may differ on priorities or plans for Springville.

We spoke with many people as we knocked on doors and you have great ideas for the future. Thank you for the opportunity to run. Only one of us was successful in our bid for trustee, but we are all committed to making Springville great.

an apology?
I hope this is meant to apologize for the nasty Facebook comments hours after the election. The fear is that Revitalizers are going to pick fights and waste money on green roofs rather than seeking consensus and plowing the streets. This is Springville not Allentown.

I also heard they want to get goat rearing approved so they can sacrifice them in their satanic rituals.
