Kiwanis clubs appreciate generosity

The Kiwanis Clubs of the Niagara Frontier South Division wish to thank all the generous contributors to their Autism Awareness event in May.

This was a huge undertaking and the area Kiwanis clubs stepped up to the challenge under the leadership of Bonnie Baker of the Holland club.

There were over 150 baskets for the raffle, over 50 gift certificates and many larger items for an auction. It was fast and furious to get all those prizes awarded.

The dinner at Lucarelli’s in Lackawanna was delicious and the banquet room was gorgeous.

The Kiwanians would like to especially thank their corporate sponsors: Key Bank and Inex for their generosity. Also, a thank you to contributors New York State Kiwanis Governor Joe Aiello, Niagara Frontier South Division Lt. Governor Hank Baker, Kiwanis Clubs of Chaffee-Sardinia and Marilla, South Buffalo Football Association and the Clarence Eye Center.

The event made over $15,000 and was donated to the Autism Program at the Children’s League in Springville.

Diane O’Dell,

PR Coordinator, Springville Kiwanis and the Niagara Frontier South Division Kiwanis Clubs
