Community makes Springville life more pleasant

The best part about living in a small town like Springville is the people you get to know. Many of the people go out of their way, to lend a helping hand or simply go above and beyond, while doing their jobs. It is the season for giving thanks and I would like to take this opportunity to thank some specific people in the Springville area. My family has moved out of state, after a little more than a decade of living here, but before leaving, I wanted to give thanks to those who helped to make the time we had here enjoyable.
Thank you to Dr. Robbin Hansen at Springville Pediatrics, for always being an excellent pediatrician for both of my daughters, even when one of them wouldn’t stop screaming at her appointments.
Thank you to Mrs. Ciminesi and Mrs. Watt at Early Bird Childcare, for giving my daughter an excellent beginning in education, in preschool.
Thank you to Mrs. Ballantyne at Springville Elementary School, for helping my daughter get off to an excellent start, in kindergarten.
Thank you to Mr. Adam, the Springville-Griffith Institute school bus driver, for keeping my daughter safe on her way to and from school and for becoming a good friend, in the process.
Thank you to Miss Kay and Miss Margaret at Kay Duffy School of Dance, for providing my daughter with excellent dance instruction and helping her to recognize some of her talents.
Thank you to Jennifer Warren, our State Farm insurance agent who was “like a good neighbor” and was always available, when needed.
Thank you to the Morton Corners Volunteer Fire Department, for coming to our rescue a couple of times, during the past 10 years.
Thank you to Brad at Formula One Automotive, for providing exceptional and fairly priced service to the vehicles we have owned, over the years.
Thank you to Dr. Michael Reilly at Springville Animal Hospital, for providing exceptional care to both our dog and cat and always being available, when our pets needed help.
Thank you to the employees at Tops in Springville, who made grocery shopping with my small children much more enjoyable with the extra attention you provided.
Thank you to all of our neighbors on Trevett and Genesee Road, who were helpful when needed and to those who became good friends, over the years.
It is because of these people our time in Springville became much more memorable and enjoyable than we ever imagined. For all of these reasons, I thank you all.
