Local minister praises first respondersí excellent care

Around 12 a.m. on Oct. 7, 2012, I fell down two steps, which resulted in the rupturing of the quads in both legs. The pain and injury was horrific, at that moment.
My wife called 911 and the first responders of Springville sprang into action. The volunteer fire departmentís EMTs and ambulance driver and the police officers involved did an excellent job and worked well with my family, who were extremely stressed. Thanks to all the first responders who participated, I got to where I needed to go to get help.
I also want to thank my church family for all their prayers and constant help and friendship. I am the pastor of the New Life Fellowship Church of the C&MA on the corner of Park Street and North Central. The people in my church are the best.
It is good to know that, when something goes terribly wrong, there are professionals here who can help and who are excellent at what they do, and that there are loving and helpful, caring people of God who will rally around you.
I am walking again, after 3 months, though, with the help of a walker and I am getting better, every day.
Thanks everybody and thank you, Heavenly Father, for placing these people round me and for answering prayers for my healing.
