We must also thank the Springville Jazz Orchestra and conductor Bill Cocca for their amazing performance, Michael Nugent for entertaining guests with his singing, Springville Print Shop for printing our invitations and tickets, Empire Merchants North for its wine-tasting display, Johnston’s Paper for its donation of party supplies, Allison McCool for photography services, and the SCENe Garden Club for generously providing fresh flowers and putting together our centerpieces. A sincere thanks is also in order for Waterman’s Greenhouse, for making flower planters available for our guests.
Also, we are so appreciative of the Springville Country Club staff and manager Jeanne Ellis for their work to coordinate the event and to BCH’s Dining Services for assisting with our desserts.
A special thanks to our event volunteers: Annette Kaleta, Justina Tavernier and Jennifer Weber.
And a final thanks to the family of Dr. Clinton and Mary Strong, to whom we paid tribute for their volunteer spirit and devotion to service for local civic and social organizations.
Because of the support our foundation received for this event, more than 100 people came together to raise just over $15,000 in funds that will go toward future projects at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home.
