Annual Cordelian Club dance will jazz up the place

I would like to invite the community of Springville and our surrounding neighbors to the annual Cordelian Club dance, to be held on Saturday, March 23 from 8 p.m. – midnight.
The theme, this year, is “Jazzin’ up the place,” featuring Lee Ron Zydeco and the Hot Tamales. This is a fun band that plays Zydeco, Cajun, Caribbean, blues, Tex-Mex and New Orleans music.
The cost of the ticket is $65, per couple, or $35 single. Your ticket price includes open bar, hors d’oeuvres and dancing the night away, at our own Springville Fire Hall.
As usual, proceeds from the dance benefit Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, with this year’s proceeds earmarked for the physical therapy department. Dance tickets can be purchased from the hospital gift shop, Anything Printed or from any Cordelian member.
There is also a Chinese basket raffle on the night of the dance, but you can get a sneak peek and buy tickets ahead of time, in the lobby of the hospital.
In addition to the Chinese raffle, there will be a cash raffle and a drum of cheer raffle. The drum is on display at S&S Taxidermy, where tickets can be purchased, to win the drum, for just $1.
If you have been to the annual dance before, then you know how much hard work the Cordelian members put into this magical evening. If you have never attended, consider going, this year. It is sure to be a fun-filled evening, right in your own backyard.
