Mill Street light show and food drive now on display

Deb and I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. We are asking everyone to support our lights for the needy food drive. I have installed more than 20,000 lights, added another 40 amps of power and another controller, this year, for everyone’s enjoyment. If you went to Niagara Falls for the Festival of Lights, during the ‘80s and ‘90s, you are in for a treat. My parents were able to buy three items from the original festival, that were displayed on Falls Street Station. We hope that these items bring back great memories for all. It is a great addition to our display.
The food drive runs from Dec. 1-Dec. 17. This gives us enough time to get the food to the Trading Post and the Springville Concord Community Food Pantry. We ask that you please donate a dry food or canned good item for a needy family, this year. We have a red box that looks like a present, in our driveway. Please place your items in there. We have been asked about monetary donations, over the years. If you would rather give a gift this way, you may write a check to:
The Springville Concord Community Food Pantry, P.O. Box 574, Springville, N.Y. 14141.
Please put “Lights for the Needy” in the check memo.
Please remember to pull off the road, while enjoying the show, turn around in our drive only and please do not litter. During this festive time, remember the true meaning of Christmas. Enjoy family and friends, help others and take time to reflect on the Christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas, Springville.
