Small Business Saturday coming to Springville
Wednesday November 27, 2013 | By:Carol Joslin |
Everyone is aware of Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. But have you heard of Small Business Saturday? It is the Saturday after Thanksgiving – Nov. 30, this year – and it is to promote the small businesses of the town or village in which you live.
The Springville Women of the Moose will be holding its fifth annual Holiday Craft Show/Bazaar on that day, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Springville Moose Lodge, 13080 Buffalo Road, Springville. We will have many vendors and crafters, who will be offering an abundance of unique gifts. You will be able to find Christmas wreaths, jewelry, ceramics, figurines, paintings, sewing crafts, knitted and crocheted items, quilts, purses, doll clothes and accessories, hand-painted items, kitchen items, towels, blankets, Raggedy Ann, Celebrating Home, Avon and so much more. New this year are “Stretched Bottle Art” by Dave Robb.
Be sure to stop in, while you are out shopping, and see what we have to offer! Don’t wait until the last minute to do your holiday shopping! Support all the small businesses, as well as these local independent craftspeople. See you Nov. 30.
