The staff and students of Springville-Griffith Institute High School have long understood the importance of contributing to the collective effort of improving our community. However, beginning this past fall, the members of the high school began working together like never before to deepen the impact and increase the scope of their community service. As a school, we have initiated a program aptly titled “Griffins Day of Giving.”
On Friday May 30, members of the senior class, along with their teachers and staff members, will take to the streets, parks and other community entities to help beautify and benefit the members of our beloved community.
Each student will spend one full day engaged in service with the opportunity of learning the value of volunteerism.
We are seeking groups and organizations that can use our assistance. S-GI HS will deploy approximately 90 students and staff with the goal of making a profoundly positive impact on the greater Springville area.

Our staff and students will be in action from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.on May 30 with a rain date of June 2. As a school, we look forward to partnering with our neighboring organizations that make Springville a great place to live, learn and serve.
