On March 18, voters in the village of Springville face an important choice. Two village trustee seats are open and a number of candidates are running. I am casting my votes for Samantha Skura and Rob Moriarty.
Samantha is young and just starting out with her career and her family. Her husband’s family owns the hardware store and Samantha understands that we must work together to make our downtown district more vibrant. Sam will bring positive energy and a fresh perspective to village government.
Rob Moriarty is a longtime village resident. He is passionate about our community, but also knows that Springville is far from reaching its potential. Rob has a strong business and management background. He’ll ask tough questions about distressed properties, ensure that we’re evaluating top village employees and look for creative ways to save the village money, while improving the quality of life for all residents.
As a recently elected Springville-Griffith Institute School Board member, I am concerned that enrollment continues to drop. I strongly believe that, with a fresh perspective in village government, Springville will thrive.
Please join me in voting for a fresh perspective, Samantha Skura and Rob Moriarty, on Tuesday, March 18.
