Food Pantry thankful for help

Editor:

The Springville-Concord Community Food Pantry would like to thank those girls from G.I. who volunteered to help us last Friday. They came to work and that they did. Windows were washed, shelves were cleaned and restocked and the rugs were vacuumed. The area around the building was raked and swept, and leaves were collected and removed.

All this was done in less than two hours and they were off to their next project. What a treat it was to see these young people involved in community projects that benefit all of us in one way or the other.

Thank you also to their teachers and chaperones who organized the groups, the jobs and traveled from site-to-site, bringing equipment and treats for the workers.

Jean Kamats,

Sue Owen
