SPRINGVILLE — Springville’s Hibit Masonry has been serving customers from all over Western New York since 1996.

Owner and founder Chris Hibit has been running his business out of his home at 11 South Edgewood Drive in Springville for the past 18 years. “We provide a wide variety of services for general contractors,” he said.

“We also deal with home builders, property owners and property management companies,” Hibit added. “It is our mission to provide our customers with superior service at fair prices, without sacrificing quality.”

Hibit grew up in Springville and began working in the masonry field, right after he graduated high school.

“I used to lift weights in high school, so I always was good at carrying around the bricks and concrete,” he said. “I was just messing around one day, so I climbed up on the rack and started laying some brick. All the guys were laughing at me, then a couple of them told me I was pretty good at it. So they asked me to start doing it for them and I’ve been doing it, ever since.”

According to the owner, Hibit Masonry’s employees pride themselves on offering unsurpassed quality, professional service and affordable prices.

Services include chimney repair and masonry restoration.

Hibit said that the busiest time in the masonry business in from April – October.

The local business employs six individuals that Hibit said help him provide excellent service to his many customers.

“Sometimes there will be instances where we have multiple jobs going on at the same time but, for the most part, we try to focus on one job at a time,” he said.

“Its all about the customers,” he added. “You don’t want to start on a job and then get really focused in on another, because sometimes that can slow down the other one. We never want to make the customer wait any longer than they have to. We get in there and get the job done the right way.”

Hibit said that he and his employees will work on anything from new build homes to private homes to small commercial buildings and businesses. “We did a Subway shop in Hamburg recently and we are also preparing for Cultured Stone Installation,” the business owner said.

Stone and concrete patios, foundation repair, outdoor grills, outdoor fireplaces, tuckpointing, chimney covers, sidewalks, porches, steps and veneers are just a few of the options that Hibit Masonry offers.

Nearly 20 years after beginning his business, Hibit said that the passion for what he does is still there and that his goal will always remain the same: offer “the customer quality service and professional masonry work. Our customers get the best of what we have,” he said.

“I’m never going to try to beat another company’s price, just for the sake of being cheaper. We will provide our customers with what’s best for them and their masonry needs.”
