SPRINGVILLE — Residents of Springville and the surrounding area have been able to take advantage of products and services from Lamb & Webster for more than 50 years. Lamb & Webster is an organization with a stated goal of providing agricultural, lawn and garden equipment.

BACK IN THE DAY — Pictured is the barn which was located on the Lamb & Webster property when the business opened in 1960.
The business, which is located on 601 West Main St. in Springville, was founded in 1960 by Lloyd Lamb and Austin Webster. The company began with the stated purpose of meeting growing demands for agricultural equipment.

Current owner Lloyd “Ev” Lamb, the son of the founder, said that he believes Springville is still an agricultural center. “We feel that Springville is still a town based on its farming,” he said. “Agriculture has always been a huge part of this town and will continue to be, in the coming years.”

According to the company owner, Lamb & Webster’s sales and finance staff members strive to meet their customers’ needs. The company’s parts and service departments are available to assist customers with products that are not working properly.

Lamb & Webster’s first featured product line was International Harvester, an agricultural machinery, construction equipment, vehicle, commercial truck, and household and commercial products manufacturer. Three years later, New Holland Agriculture, a farming equipment manufacturer, became its second. Products from these and other lines offered at Lamb & Webster can be seen, on-site, or online at

Lamb said that being a part of a town for more than 50 years is a credit to the business that his father helped found. “It’s an honor to still be in Springville and to have seen how far the business has come over time,” he said. “Helping this community with agricultural needs is what we will continue to do and we hope to be doing the same thing in another 50 years.”

Lamb & Webster has expanded, over the years, including with the opening of additional locations.

A Lamb & Webster opened in North Java, N.Y. in 1985 and a third location was added in 2002, when the Woodhull, N.Y. store was opened. The fourth and final store was unveiled in Grove City, Pa., in 2009.

Lamb & Webster is opened Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 592-4924.
