BUFFALO — President Barack Obama spoke about college affordability, middle class mobility and Buffalo’s work ethic at the University at Buffalo on Aug. 22, to a packed house of students, Western New Yorkers and guests.

Obama hugs the UB sophomore who introduced him.

The speech kicked off his tour of New York state. Look for the full story of what the president’s visit meant for Western New York and more photos, in next week’s issue of the Journal.

The arena at University at Buffalo was packed to the gills with supporters.

The motorcade left for Syracuse, as the crowd waved goodbye to the POTUS.
