COLDEN — The Colden farmers market was back in the heart of Colden on July 6.
The town is hosting this public event for the second year in a row.
The farmers market takes place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. from May – October on Supervisor Road in Colden.
FRESHLY-PICKED — Vendor Deibel’s Farms of West Falls sets out fresh, local fruit for market attendees to enjoy.
Last week’s featured vendors of the day were Mark Ebersole, with his aged cheddar cheese and yogurt, and Damian’s quality meat products, which also appear at the Holland Market.
Hot dogs were put on the grill for attendees to purchase.
The featured performing artist was, once again, the band The Porcelain Train.
A different musical group performs at each farmers market, during the summer months.
A quality crafts show will be hosted on the second Saturday of each month. According to organizers, spaces are filling up, so interested parties should get their names in, as soon as possible.
