SPRINGVILLE — Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported the arrest of a Concord man for driving while under the influence of drugs, after the subject was found passed out behind the wheel of a car on West Main Street in the village of Springville, at 11 a.m. on Feb. 24.
While on patrol in the village of Springville, Deputy James Flowers found a vehicle stopped in the middle of West Main Street, with the driver passed out behind the wheel.
The driver, Ryan Drumsta, 21, of Morse Road, Concord, was awakened by Flowers and, upon further interview and field sobriety tests, was determined to be intoxicated by drugs.
Drumsta was arrested for DWI/drugs. He had a suspended driver’s license and was additionally charged for that infraction, along with other vehicle and traffic violations.
Drumsta refused a blood test and was later released to a third party, with appearance tickets returnable to the village of Springville Court, at a later date. The subject’s vehicle was towed.
This was the 54th DWI arrest made, this year, by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
