SPRINGVILLE — Two towers of balloons flanked the entry of Sheret Jewelers, which officially re-opened at 57 Main St. in Springville on Saturday, July 20. Co-owners Elise and Michael Rose greeted customers, along with Liz Bligh, Elise Rose’s sister and Bligh’s mother, Sherry Bligh.

As part of the ceremony, Springville Village Trustee Terry Skelton read a proclamation from the village, designating the day “Sheret Jewelers Day. “Let July 20, 2013 be known as Sheret Jewelers Day, in the village of Springville, celebrating this family business,” Skelton said.

COME ON IN — Visitors to Sheret Jewelers’ grand re-opening could examine the wares available at the new store, including engagement rings, wedding bands, watches, clocks, jewelry and more.

Erika Thurkins, Springville Area Chamber of Commerce executive director, also welcomed the new businessowners to the neighborhood. “On behalf of the SACC and the board, we congratulate Elise and Mike in their new endeavor. We wish them the best of luck,” Thurkins said.

ENTER HERE — Balloon towers, topped with diamond ring sculptures, flanked the doorway to Sheret Jewelers, welcoming customers in to the grand re-opening on July 20.

In addition to the chance to peek inside the new store, the grand re-opening included refreshments and a prize drawing at 4 p.m. Rose is also accepting donations for the Springville M&T Park clock, in memory of her father, the late Andy Sheret.

Sheret Jewelers’ summer hours are Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Rose accepts all major credit cards and said that a website is in the works. For more information, call 592-4482.

Grand Re-opening!
So very happy to see Sheret's again in business on Main Street. Remember when Don was in business, it's where i bought my wife's wedding and engagement rings. Hal Spencer
