Attempted town of Boston robbery foiled

Shawn Krawczyk
BOSTON The New York State Police have arrested 26-year-old Shawn Krawczyk for attempted robbery of either the 7/11 convenience store or the Evans National Bank, both located in the town of Boston.

After receiving a tip of the planned robbery, troopers from the Boston barracks located Krawczyk walking on Boston State Road in the direction of the businesses. Krawczyk was found in possession of a written note of a demand for money.

When the subject was interviewed, he admitted that he was going to rob one of the businesses, but was still undecided about which one he would go to.

Krawczyk was arraigned in the town of Boston Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $50,000.00 bail.
