COLLINS — New York State Troopers arrested Alex Sullivan, 31, of Yorkshire for felony driving while intoxicated, after a traffic stop on Route 39 in Collins on July 19.
Sullivan was traveling eastbound when troopers stopped him, after observing his vehicle’s crossing the center line. He failed a series of field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI. He was processed at the Collins barracks, with a reportable blood alcohol content of .12 percent.
A computer check found Sullivan to have been convicted of DWI in 2009, which elevated the charge to a felony. He was arraigned in Collins Town Court and is due back, at a later date.
