Sharon Barnett (nee O’Neill), 68, of Little Valley, passed away Aug. 19.
She was born in 1943 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Michael and Lillian (Beck) O’Neill. She had worked for many years at TODCO in Cattaraugus.
She was the wife of the late Clyde Barnett; mother of David Barnett of Cheektowaga, James Barnett of Eddyville, Clyde Barnett of Cattaraugus, Donna (Steve) Clark of Groveland, Fla., Peggy (Neil) Evans of Great Valley, Sharon (Don) Taylor of Salamanca, Kelly (Mike) Dewey of Depew and Mary Rogers of Little Valley; grandmother of 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sister of Michael (Cathy) O’Neill, Elle Amrhein of Depew, DeeDee Young of Alden and Eileen (Peter) Grimm of East Aurora; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Homecare and Hospice. Arrangements were made by the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley.
Allene L. Schoepflin (nee Lester), 80, of Delevan, Aug. 13, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born in Freedom in 1932, the daughter of the late Clifford and Hazel (nee Barber) Lester.
She had worked at Pant-Ease in Arcade, made pies for Mickey’s Diner in Yorkshire and was a school bus driver for 35 years, driving for Pioneer School, Laidlaw, Jerry Roberts and McDonald’s Bus Service.
She was the wife of the late Leland “Lee” Schoepflin; mother of Lee Jr. (Adriana) Schoepflin of Springville, Leslie “Red” (Tina) Schoepflin of Summershade, Ky., Lynn (Barb) Schoepflin of Freedom, Louise (Bill) Brown of Hastings, Fla., Larry (Holly) Schoepflin of Machias and Lois Hefner of Delevan; grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; sister of Gerald (Patricia) Lester of Freedom and the late Robert (Norma) Lester, Donald (Joy) Lester; Cecil (Barbara) Lester; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A time of remembering was held at her residence on Saturday, Aug. 25. Burial was in Siloam Cemetery, Freedom.

Robert E. Quick of Johnson City, Tenn., formerly of Springville, passed away Aug. 16.
He was the son of the late Lloyd and Elsie Quick; husband of Betty (nee McCauley); father of Debra (Peter) Pett; grandfather of Tyler and Lindsey of Fredonia; brother of Marilyn Failey of Collins, Barbara Nelson of Madawoska, Me., Peggy Rice of Springville, Richard (Shirley) Quick of West Valley and the late Lloyd, Leon, Carl Quick and Marion Mitchell.
