Andrew David “Dave” Boldt, 75, of Chaffee, died Dec. 3 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville.
He was born in Spring Brook, N.Y. on Oct. 19, 1937 to the late Andrew and Alice (nee Phair) Boldt.
He graduated from East Aurora High School, before serving in the United States Army Reserves.
He was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church in Arcade and the farm bureau. He also played baseball. He was self-employed as a crop and vegetable farmer.
He was the brother of Elaine (Robert) Heichberger of Gowanda and the late Daniel Boldt; brother-in-law of Barbara Boldt of Chaffee; uncle of Andrew (Debbie) Boldt, Sherry (Marty) Oakes, Bethany (Jeffrey) Pattride, Daniel (Laurie) Boldt, Dr. Lisa (Mark Peterson) Heichberger and Mark (Gretchen) Heichberger; great-uncle of 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral was held Dec. 6 from Hope Lutheran Church, 2 East Main St., Arcade. The Rev. Shawn Hannon officiated. Burial was in Sardinia Cemetery.

Bruce Ehman Jr., 64, of Ellicottville, died Nov. 29 at Buffalo General Hospital.
He was born in Olean on July 8, 1948 to the late Bruce St. and Marjorie (nee Goodemote) Ehman.
He was a Navy veteran and a member of the Ellicottville American Legion, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in West Valley, the Conservation Club in Dunkirk and the Ellicottville Gun Club. He was also a gardener.
He was employed as an electrician for NRG Energy in Dunkirk.
He was the husband of Sheila (nee Scharf) Ehman; father of Jena (Guy) Hock of Seneca Falls and Erin (Erich) Douglas of Meadville, Pa.; grandfather of Tyler Kuell, Tessa Hock and Addison Douglas; brother of John (Jean) Ehman of Olean, Barbara (Jack) Dickinson of Sunburg, Pa. and the late Kathleen Ford and James Ehman.
A funeral was held Dec. 3 from St. John the Baptist Church, West Valley. The Rev. Lawrence Cobel officiated.

Eileen (nee Cleveland) Fitzgerald, 83, of Lantana, Fla. and Springville, died Dec. 3 at Hospice of Palm Beach County.
She was born March 7, 1929 in Corfu, N.Y., the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elinor (McEntee) Cleveland.
She was the owner and operator of Fitzgerald Truck Equipment, a member of St. Aloysius Church of Springville and a former member of the Martha Committee at St. Aloysius.
She was the wife of the late John Fitzgerald; mother of Lynda (Kenneth) Holler and Sandra (Richard) DePue; grandmother of Sean (Rebecca) DePue, Elizabeth (Brad) Joyce, Corinne DePue, Colin Holler and Timothy Holler; great-grandmother of Josephine DePue; sister of the late Robert and William Cleveland.
A visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 East Main St., Springville, from 2 – 5 p.m. A funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 10, from St. Aloysius Church, Springville, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Lawrence Cobel will officiate.

Gloria Rumfola-Farner, 74, of Thornton, Colo., formerly of Springville, died of cancer on Nov. 30.
She was born Aug. 27, 1938 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (nee Meredith) Anger.
She worked in the medical field and was a Hospice nurse. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Thornton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dean Rumfola; former wife of Henry Farner of West Valley; mother of Dean (Kimberly) Rumfola of Brighton, Colo., Jeremy (Joshua) Farner of Brandon, Fla. and the late Joel Farner; grandmother of Lily; sister of Joan (late Tom) Armstrong of Hamburg, Carol (Alan) Domes of West Valley, Richard (Patricia) Anger of North Java and the late Mary Jane Schill.
A visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 East Main St., Springville, where a funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation, at 1:30. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Springville.
