Lancaster- Harriett E. (nee Swanson) Garfield of Fort Worth, Texas; formerly of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the age of 92. Dearest mother of Lois (William) Rosenthal, Phyllis (James) Greco and John (Virginia) Garfield; cherished grandmother of Leeann, Lori, Michelle, Carrie, Michael, Tamra, Nadine, Dawn and the late James; loving great-grandmother of Linsey, Vito, James, Joseph, Desiray, Destiny, Ava, Gianna and the late Matthew; dear sister of the late Floyd Swanson. Patricia A. (nee Flynn) Scharmach of Lancaster died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012; beloved husband of 37 years to Paul E. Scharmach; dearest mother of Michael K. Scharmach; dear sister of Thomas A. (Mary) Flynn; sister-in-law of Carol M. (Howard) Shisler and Gail A. Scharmach; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family was present Monday at the (Lancaster-Depew Chapel) Amigone Funeral Home, Inc. where prayers were offered on Wednesday and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Martha's Parish (formerly OLBS). Otto J. Iszkiewicz Jr. of Lancaster entered into eternal rest Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Murszewski) Iszkiewicz; devoted father of Christine (Michael Sr.) Blum, Beverly (Robert) Ruhland, Patricia (Michael) Mustillo, Deborah (Michael Krachinski) Zmich and Mark Iszkiewicz; also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends visited the Lombardo Funeral Home, (Southtowns Chapel) on Thursday and Friday where the funeral service was held on Saturday morning. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. William R. "Bill" Larson of Lancaster passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, beloved husband of the late Darlene (Barren); loving father of Carey (Martin Jr.) Dugan, Chrisey Larson and the late Casey Larson; grandfather of Mitchell, Rachel and the late Caylin Dugan; son of Mary and the late Robert; brother of James, Daniel (Karen), Nancy (John Jr.) Richardson, Sally, Patricia (David) Evans. Family received relatives and friends at the Wendel & Loecher, Inc. Funeral Home, in Lancaster, Tuesday and Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Lancaster, Thursday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park.
