Concord – Police investigated a car versus motorcycle accident on Genesee Road at Springville-Boston Road intersection. The driver of the motorcycle was apparently uninjured and was up walking around. The motorcycle itself was pinned under the other vehicle and had to be towed.
Sardinia – A motorist who hit a deer on Olean Road was shaken up after her airbags deployed. EMS personnel responded and the vehicle had to be towed.
Springville – A vehicle stopped for traveling 70 MPH in a 45 MPH zone resulted in the arrest of the driver, Nathanial H. Lux, 18, of Springville, who was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was charged with speed in the zone, UPM and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Sunday, July 1
Boston – A vehicle that drove through bushes and over lawns on Ravine Drive and left the scene was located at Brunner’s. The driver, Lydia N. Kallin, 23, of Hamburg, was subsequently charged with DWI and four other vehicle and traffic violations including leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Reportedly, Kallin refused to submit to a chemical test. She was released to a third party.
Concord – Following several calls to 911 dispatchers, a vehicle all over the road on the 219 Expressway was stopped on Genesee Road. The driver, Camille Haggerty, 53, of Kenmore, was subsequently charged with DWAI: drugs. She was taken to the hospital for a blood draw. Haggerty was issued three uniform traffic tickets.
Tuesday, July 3
Boston – A traffic stop on Boston State Road resulted in the arrest of the driver, Shane M. Dudley, 44, of Boston, who was found to be in possession of marijuana. Dudley was charged with UPM, AUO in the second degree, unlicensed operation and obstructed view. He was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $250 bail.
Colden – Joseph M. Brant, 46, of Colden was charged with DWI following a traffic stop on State Road. Brant reportedly refused to submit a chemical test and was released to a third party after being issued five uniform traffic tickets.
Springville – A traffic stop on South Cascade Drive led to the arrest of Dalton J. Nelson, 20, of Hamburg, who was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of marijuana. He was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree. A passenger, Joshua S. Kessel, 23, of Boston, was charged with UPM. Both subjects were released on appearance tickets.
Springville – Preston T. Anderson, 22, of East Otto was charged with AUO in the third degree following a traffic stop on South Cascade Drive in which his driver’s license was found to be suspended. He was ticketed and a licensed driver took charge of his vehicle.
Wednesday, July 4
Springville – Joseph W. Lilley, 39, of Concord was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop on Waverly Street. He was ticketed and the vehicle was towed.
Thursday, July 5
Boston – A caller reported she fell victim to a scam and ended up losing $200 worth of Amazon gift cards. The caller apparently received an email from a friend who she later found out had had her email hacked and unknown subjects were sending emails in her name requesting gift cards. The caller sent an email with the cards information and when she contacted Amazon, found out the cards had already been used.
Concord – A traffic stop on the southbound 219 Expressway resulted in the arrest of the driver, Emmanuel Suggs, 32, of Buffalo, who was found to be driving with a revoked non-driver ID only. Reportedly, Suggs had 18 active suspensions/revocations. He was taken to the Holding Center pending arraignment. A female passenger, Kayleigh C. Wyant, 27, of Bradford, Pa., was found to be in possession of marijuana. She was charged with UPM and tampering with physical evidence. Wyant was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $250 bail.
Concord – Joseph E. Woyshner, 18, of Buffalo was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration due to an insurance lapse following a traffic stop for speeding on Main Street. He was ticketed and released. The vehicle was towed.
Sardinia – A caller reported lightning struck a tree the caller and several other people were standing under during a thunderstorm causing them all to fall to the ground. The four were transported to various hospitals for treatment and evaluation. None of the injuries appeared to be serious.
Sunday, July 8
Springville – Karen E. Kehr, 43, of Springville was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and a controlled substance in non-original container. Additionally, Christopher L. Connelly, 46, of Springville was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, AUO in the third degree, DWI: first offense, operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs in the first degree and a speeding violation: speed in the zone. Both were released on appearance tickets.
Springville – Kelly A. Jablonicky, 29, of Buffalo was charged with DWI: first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 of 1 percent while on Boston State Road. She was issued an appearance ticket.
