SPRINGVILLE — Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported the arrest of a town of Franklinville man for driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred at 11 p.m. on July 10.
Deputy Douglas Grube observed a vehicle, operated by George Englehardt, 26, fail to drive on the right side of the road and unable to maintain its lane on East Main Street in Springville.
Englehardt was taken into custody and transported to the sheriff’s Springville substation, where he was administered a chemical breath test. His blood alcohol content was found to be .09 percent. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and several other traffic violations.
Englehardt was released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets, returnable to the village of Springville Court, at a future date.
