– Oct. 23, 6:27 p.m., East Concord firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Sharp Street. Rural Metro Ambulance transported to BCH.

Handyman arrested in Craneridge
Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard announced the recent arrest of a 22-year-old town of Concord man.

Tyler Twichell of Ridge Trail, Concord, was arrested, without incident, on Monday, Oct. 29. He was charged with grand larceny, a third degree felony, and burglary, a second degree felony, in connection with the thefts of jewelry and silverware from two town of Concord homes where he performed odd jobs, earlier in the year.

Twichell admitted to Erie County Sheriff’s detectives Greg McCarthy and Jack Graham that he stole the property, valued at more than $3,000, from two homes on Woodstock Road and Ridge Trail, where he worked in the spring and fall.

Twichell was arraigned on the charges and is due back in court on Monday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m.

The case still remains under investigation. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information about the case call 667-5224.

Local man arrested for DWI
On Friday, Oct. 19, at approximately 11 p.m., Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Bouton stopped Michael Zielinski, 44, of Springville.

Zielinski submitted to a breath test, with the result’s being .20 percent blood alcohol content.

He was released to a third party and will appear in Springville Court, at a later date.

Chad Terwilliger arrested
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Chad Terwilliger of Machias on Oct. 18 at 10 p.m. on a warrant issued in family court. The arrest took place on Main Street in Delevan.

Terwilliger was arraigned at Franklinville Town Court and transported to jail after bail was set, to appear in family court at a later date.

Two men arrested in Salamanca

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Harley Jimerson, 23, of Irving and Jared Klein, 26, of Springville for disorderly conduct in Salamanca on Oct. 23 at 11:30 p.m.

Police said that the two men engaged in a fight at the Paradise Club in the town of Salamanca. The subjects were issued tickets to appear in court at a later date.
