Machias man charged with menacing

MACHIAS — New York State Police based in Machias arrested Joshua Terwilliger, 28, of Machias, on Nov. 5, for menacing second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment second degree.

The charges stemmed from a domestic incident which had occurred the previous day. Terwilliger was arraigned and an order of protection was issued.

On Nov. 10, NYSP Machias arrested Terwilliger for violating that order of protection. Terwilliger was charged with criminal contempt second degree and aggravated harassment second degree.

Terwilliger was arraigned in the town of Machias Court and committed to the Cattaraugus County Jail, in lieu of bail.
